Kim answers 5 questions pertaining to her Hair Career.

In high school I felt that gaining knowledge of hair would combine extremely well with my strong interest in theatrical makeup. 

I attended Beauty School in DC and took classes at The Redken Exchange in New York.

While in New York City I worked at a local Hair Salon where I began building a strong clientele. As I was building my clientele I refined my techniques so I would be prepared to do both professional hair and makeup when I moved to Los Angeles.

After moving to Los Angeles I went to the Cinema Make-up School to improve my hair and makeup techniques for film, t.v. and print.

Currently, outside of working at the My Bella Color Studio I also freelance doing professional makeup and hair for film, television and print.

I love working in the salon and meeting new people every day. I couldn't ask for anything more!

I love everything about being a Hair Stylist, Colorist and Makeup artist!

I love meeting new people, building relationships and being creative on a daily basis!

I'm naturally a very artistic person and doing hair and makeup allows me to freely express myself as an artist while helping my Clients look and feel more beautiful!

One really simple reason that I love doing hair and makeup is that I am naturally very good at it!

It's wonderful to love what one does for a living. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to say this from my heart.

STYLING?
I enjoy creating a new look for my Clients and I love trying new things. Changing someone's hair style is an easy way of changing they're look without doing anything too crazy!

COLORING?
Coloring is my favorite area. I'm very meticulous in my coloring techniques and formulations.

I love coming up with new and interesting techniques to apply hair color and highlights!

SERVICING OTHERS?
I love working with people and meeting new people every day!

When a Client comes in and doesn't know how to update her look, my favorite thing is to make that journey fun! I also make it a point to find something that is conducive to the life style they are accustomed to.

The customer's complete satisfaction is always most important to me! 

I would love to make a career out of working in the salon and freelancing.

I also find it very rewarding to have a happy Clientele that can trust me and the decisions I make regarding their style and color.

Most importantly I never want to stop learning and trying new things!

I'm creative and edgy. I'm also laid back and I have a conservative side.

In short, I have a lot to offer to any type of person.
